Meet Magento Romania 2021 took place on October 8th and was the perfect gathering place or all Magento supporters and eCommerce players.
2021 – the year that brought us the first online edition of Meet Magento Romania! The 7th event in Romania took place on October 8th and was, once again, the perfect gathering place for all Magento supporters and eCommerce players!
This year, Innobyte was the Platinum Sponsor of the event and Contribution Days organiser. For the second edition, our CTO, Alin Alexandru, was one of the speakers on Meet Magento RO stage, and he delivered useful tips & tricks on development process optimisations.
As usual, there were two tracks covering the latest technical and business details related to Magento and eCommerce in general. We had a great time at the event! It is always a pleasure to see familiar and new faces from the community, even though it took place online (and we miss the coffee breaks, the photo sessions, shaking hands with you and the offline networking breaks).

Contribution Day 2021
Together with our friends from Zento, we organised Contribution Day #mm21ro on October 7th, 2021, in a virtual and face-to-face format, at our Bucharest office. It was a great opportunity to connect with Magento developers and contribute to the Magento Platform. Also, the contributors got the chance to work with Paras Sood, Senior Software Engineer from Adobe, this year’s edition moderator.
Why are Contribution Days important?
Magento encourages the community to get involved. Every year, many new developments and implementations come from contributors, whether we talk about simple bug fixes, new features or components, changes to existing features, tests, optimisations or suggestions.
